Life is full of challenges—grief, parenting stress, relationship struggles, or the lasting effects of trauma. Reaching out for support isn’t always easy, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Whatever brought you to this point, I want you to know: you’re welcome here, just as you are.
I bring a strong background in business, leadership, and process improvement, all of which have deepened my work as a therapist. This experience helps me create an inclusive, structured, and compassionate space where clients feel seen, valued, and empowered to grow. I work with teens and adults to address a variety of concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, attachment wounds, and women’s issues.
My approach is trauma-informed and client-centered, grounded in the belief that healing is possible when we are able to reconnect with our authentic selves. Too often, our wounded parts—formed by pain, loss, or unmet needs—get in the way of how we connect with ourselves and others. Therapy can help shift those patterns, allowing you to build trust, express emotion, solve problems more effectively, and move toward healing.
I’m especially passionate about serving the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and their families, I am fully affirming and inclusive in my practice. It’s important to me that everyone feels safe and supported in therapy.
I have advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am also currently pursuing my Sex Therapy Certification through the Sexual Health Alliance. I enjoy integrating creativity into the therapy process and tailor my approach to each client’s individual strengths, needs, and goals.
Therapy is a collaboration—and I consider it an honor to walk alongside you. Whether you’re working through trauma, exploring identity, or navigating a difficult life transition, we’ll move at your pace, together.
I currently practice at Chris King Counseling in Tulsa where I see individuals, teens and adults. My session fee is $150 for 55 minutes.
Choosing whether or not to use insurance for therapy is a personal decision. For some, paying privately offers the benefit of increased confidentiality, since your information is not shared with insurance companies and no mental health diagnosis is required to access services.
When insurance is used, I’m required to assign a mental health diagnosis, which becomes part of your medical record. While this is a helpful option for many, others may prefer to keep their mental health care completely private.
I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and Aetna, and I’m happy to bill these companies directly. If you’re using a different insurance provider, I can offer a superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
If you’re ready to take the next step, let’s talk together about what feels best for you and your care.
